OOTN // Dinner Date

Fedora - Vintage // Mesh Tee - Handmade // Skort - NewLook // Boots - NewLook // Belt - Vintage Levis // Necklaces - Accessorize and gift

001 // Sup guys! This is what I wore to my friend's birthday meal tonight and I thought I would share it with you! Naturally, having a wardrobe full of clothes means I couldn't find anything to wear, so as any other normal person would, I decided to make this top last minute. I had had the black sports mesh fabric for a while and so I thought it was time to put it to good use! I wanted to make a big baggy tee out of it but I think all that black would wash me out and make me look a drowned. I feel like New Look has phases of having good stock and right now is definitely one of them. They've actually got a few good pieces in at the moment, especially these skorts and similar skirts.

002 // Aren't you just loving the weather at the moment! As much as I love summer, I hate all the skimpy summer clothes and getting half naked just to survive in the heat! So this weather is the perfect combination - sunny enough to warm you up but cold enough to get away with wearing tights and trousers. Plus it provides amazing lighting for outfit photos ;)

Make sure to let me know what you think of this ensemble in the comments and if you'd like to see a DIY on how to make these mesh tshirts!

An Interview with // Monica Barleycorn AKA helloomonica

Hey guys! Don't be too alarmed, I know it's not been long since the last post but I have something a bit different for you guys! I had the amazing opportunity of interviewing Monica Barleycorn of and she is genuinely one of the loveliest people I have ever spoken to! Monica has been running her blog for the past 4 years and in that short time she has gained a huge following and recognition in a number of fashion magazines. She is definitely one of my all time favourite bloggers! If you haven't already checked out her blog, I definitely  recommend that you do, her style is gorgeous!

So without further ado...

Remember to go check out Monica's blog over at and follow her on Twitter (@helloomonica) and Instagram (monicabarleycorn)

I hope you guys have enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it! Let me know what you think and I could make this type of post a regular thing xx

OOTD // It's Been A While...

Fedora - Vintage // White Tee - Monki // Jeans - Topshop // Checked Shirt - Vintage // Chelsea Boots - Office // Silver Necklaces - Vintage, Accessorize and Mum's // Belt - Vintage Levi's

001 // Hey guys! So it's been a while since my last outfit post but I promise there will be more from here on out. I'm loving the 'shirt tied around the waist' look at the moment and I think it is a great way to make an outfit that little bit more laid back and casual. If you have a weird figure like me and you want to accentuate your waist a little more, it's great for that too, if not, then around the hips looks great too! I've also been doing it with dresses and skirts to tone down the 'girly'ness. I'm also really into chunky, ethnic looking,  silver necklaces at the moment. They add a little bohemian and pretty much look great with anything.

002 // On another note, my GCSEs are in 5 weeks (eek!) so I won't be posting too much until after they are over, when I have my 10 week long summer!! Woop woop! And seeing as I have such a long summer, where I guarantee I will spend 90% of just lying in bed watching netflix, I have lots of exciting little projects planned and I can't wait to start them and share them with you guys!

Mwah xx

Vanilla Body Spray // Boots

Shattered Face Case // Urban Decay

Ripped Jeans // River Island

Scrunchies // Green Checkered - American Apparel
Red Checkered & Paisley - Handmade

Tracey Emin Photo Album Book // Amazon

001 // Sup Guys! I know there has been a lack of posting again but that's revision for you! But here I am, back with another monthly favourite and while this one is a tiny bit later than I was hoping for, it is full of things that I would absolutely recommend to everyone!

002 // If you are anything like me then you will love anything vanilla scented, whether its candles, body wash, or in this case, body spray! Even though only a small amount has gone I did actually use it nearly every day in Feb because it just smells delicious. I think they have other scents like lavender etc. and are so so cheap so definitely check them out!
I got this Urban Decay palette for Christmas and despite me having a lack of events to use it for, I have loved it all the same! The colours are to die for and I love using the chunky lip pencil for casual day looks.

003 // Another thing I haven't stopped using for many weeks is my baggy ripped jeans from River Island. They are great to just throw on with an oversized tee or to tone down a more serious outfit! A definite recommendation. Seeing as I have been working on coursework non stop recently, its so nice just to come home and throw my hair up out of my face without damaging it with any harsh hairbands and so I have been using these scrunchies non stop recently! They are super cheap (and even cheaper if you make them yourself like me!) and comfy so go out and buy tonnes!

004 // I have always loved Tracey Emin's work and when I received her compilation of personal photos in book form for Christmas last year, I was over the moon! She is such an interesting and inspirational woman and her work is incredible too, so if you haven't heard of her or any of her work, give her a cheeky google and I'm sure you'll be converted!

Again, apologies for lack of posts, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! Love ya lots x

Must Haves // The Hat

001 //  I noticed that I haven't done a 'Must Haves' post for a little while so I thought I would make a hat edition! I have been loving wearing hats recently, anything from beanies to bowlers and I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of the different types of hats that have caughts my eye and that I wish I could add to my collection. Beanies will always be my favourite kind of hat, perfect for covering up those 2 day roots and a great way to tone down any outfit. I have also been wearing my fedora a lot recently and I think they are a really simple way to make an outfit instantly look more refined and mature. Britain has always been a fan of urban street style and more and more styles of caps have come back into fashion over the past year. Yes, there was the dreaded snapback, but hopefully that phase is over...
I am yet to purchase my first floppy hat but that is definitely first on my list for summer! Use them to add sophisticated girliness to your attire or just use as a practical sun shade, either way, you will look effortlessly cool and chic. I particularly love the pinky version by H&M.

Let me know in the comments which hat style you prefer and tell me what you'd like to see in the next 'Must Haves' post!
