Year 11 Prom

001 // I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted but the last month has been so hectic! I had the last of my exams, prom, endless parties, fashion shows (which I will post about in a little while!) and to top it all off, my big brother and his girlfriend have just had a wonderful baby boy who is stealing everyone's attention! Make sure to check out my instagram for endless baby pics!

002 // But to make it up to you guys I thought I would share some pictures from my recent year 11 leaver's prom. It was a great night and a lovely way to say farewell to some amazing people I have gotten to know over the past 5 years. I had lots of compliments on my dress, which was from thecelebritydresses.com, and no, that is not a skin coloured panel inside the front, it is my sunburn line... that I managed to get by sunbathing in my back garden... in England! Who knew good old blighty could be so damn hot!?

003 // So seeing as this summer break is extra long, I have a few exciting fashion/blogging thing planned so stay tuned for those! I'll try not to disappoint...

Let me know if any of you had a prom recently and I would love to see what you wore! x

Monthly Favourites // May

Sup guys! I know it's been a little while but I have finally got a small break from exams seeing as it is half term so I thought I would show you what I have been loving over the month of May. Lets go!

First on this May's favourites is this gorgeous silver statement coin necklace. I have been slightly obsessed with the bohemian coin jewellery at the moment and I thought this necklace was simply perfect when I saw it! If you were to buy a necklace like this from a shop like Topshop, you would expect to pay around £15-£20 for it, but since I am a rigorous bargain hunter, I managed to find this on eBay for just £4! I'm proud. It is a really good quality, feels nice and heavy and makes a satisfying jangling noise when you move around. I can't wait to wear this all summer long.

I've always loved burning incense sticks, ever since I was a little kid, there's just something really soothing and mind-clearing about them, so I recently bought my own little incense holder which is this adorable black wooden elephant. I did want to buy a holder that has a tray for the ash to fall on to but I couldn't resist this little guy! The sticks I have been burning at the moment are lavender scented and smell sooo good. I would definitely recommend incense to anyone that is looking for a cheap alternative to scented candles because I feel that the scent is much stronger and my rooms smells gorgeous for up to a week afterwards!

I have been looking for a good concealer for donkey's years now and decided to try out the Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer and I have to say I'm quite impressed. As you can see I got one in a light shade to use as a highlighter and a slightly darker one to use as a normal concealer, but turns out I'm paler than I thought and have ended up using the lighter one as both a concealer and a highlighter, which shouldn't make sense, but it works...
These concealers have really good coverage, last a good while and are really reasonably priced as concealers go, a definite recommendation!

I've recently acquired this gem and haven't stopped wearing it! I love five-panels, they are great for covering up unwanted bad hair days and can really tone down an outfit if you want a more casual look. I love this green colour with my hair and just couldn't resist buying it.

I've been loving this month's Company High Street Edit Magazine. I find it much more chic and mature than the original magazine and it is great for finding affordable stylish clothes. I love the visuals and the photography in this particular issue is gorgeous, definitely take a look if you come across one!

001 //  So I hope you guys like this month's favourites and I'm sorry I've missed a couple of months... I've had a weeks break from exams but go back to them on Tuesday so I might be AWOL again for a while. I will get back as soon as possible with some really exciting stuff to show you guys! Love ya xx

OOTN // Dinner Date

Fedora - Vintage // Mesh Tee - Handmade // Skort - NewLook // Boots - NewLook // Belt - Vintage Levis // Necklaces - Accessorize and gift

001 // Sup guys! This is what I wore to my friend's birthday meal tonight and I thought I would share it with you! Naturally, having a wardrobe full of clothes means I couldn't find anything to wear, so as any other normal person would, I decided to make this top last minute. I had had the black sports mesh fabric for a while and so I thought it was time to put it to good use! I wanted to make a big baggy tee out of it but I think all that black would wash me out and make me look a drowned. I feel like New Look has phases of having good stock and right now is definitely one of them. They've actually got a few good pieces in at the moment, especially these skorts and similar skirts.

002 // Aren't you just loving the weather at the moment! As much as I love summer, I hate all the skimpy summer clothes and getting half naked just to survive in the heat! So this weather is the perfect combination - sunny enough to warm you up but cold enough to get away with wearing tights and trousers. Plus it provides amazing lighting for outfit photos ;)

Make sure to let me know what you think of this ensemble in the comments and if you'd like to see a DIY on how to make these mesh tshirts!

OOTD // It's Been A While...

Fedora - Vintage // White Tee - Monki // Jeans - Topshop // Checked Shirt - Vintage // Chelsea Boots - Office // Silver Necklaces - Vintage, Accessorize and Mum's // Belt - Vintage Levi's

001 // Hey guys! So it's been a while since my last outfit post but I promise there will be more from here on out. I'm loving the 'shirt tied around the waist' look at the moment and I think it is a great way to make an outfit that little bit more laid back and casual. If you have a weird figure like me and you want to accentuate your waist a little more, it's great for that too, if not, then around the hips looks great too! I've also been doing it with dresses and skirts to tone down the 'girly'ness. I'm also really into chunky, ethnic looking,  silver necklaces at the moment. They add a little bohemian and pretty much look great with anything.

002 // On another note, my GCSEs are in 5 weeks (eek!) so I won't be posting too much until after they are over, when I have my 10 week long summer!! Woop woop! And seeing as I have such a long summer, where I guarantee I will spend 90% of just lying in bed watching netflix, I have lots of exciting little projects planned and I can't wait to start them and share them with you guys!

Mwah xx
